Determining curves

Data charted is for inside and outside curve panels at 5’ through 150’ radius. Radius (R) will be stamped on all panel backs

STEPS:

  1. From last post of a run, lay a cloth tape on intended path of guide rail.
  2. Mark off point (B) at 6’-3” and (C) at 12’-6” on path
  3. Stretch a string from (A) to (C)
  4. Measure bow (M) from midpoint of string to (B)
  5. Use bow (M) on the chart to determine radius

Note: Bow and Radius may vary for consecutive panel pieces on long curve runs
